Highmauve: Mutant History 101

Winter groaned. She wanted to ask if they were going to be let out early but she knew that if she asked tvat, they wouldn't be let out at all. She rested her cheek on her palm as she stared blankly at the teacher. If the rest of her mutant classes were like this, she was going to be bored out of her mind here at school. She glanced over at the others. It seemed like they were just as bored as she was. She placed her forehead on the desk and sighed.

Noelle looks at Winter and frowns. It looks like everyone is done with this professor. At this point in time, the window that Tobi had is head on was becoming fuzzy, and looked more like the idea of a window versus the actual thing. Everything has an almost slightly flat, drawn feel to it. Noelle knew that Tobi was going to have to leave soon- the window would only be able to stay for a little while longer, and it will become less real as time went on. She stares at the professor and chants 'End class, end class, end class, end class' in her head.

"If no one has any questions then." The professor says and turns back to his desk. "There's a quiz online over what we talked about today, make sure you take it by next class." He pauses.

"Oh, Tobias," Dr. Richard says. "I'd advise that your little outburst not happen again. Class dismissed." He sits down in his chair and waves them out the door dismissively.

Tobi hears that and sits upright. He doesn't say a word as he gathers his things, slings it over on shoulder, and beelines for the door. He's out in a minute, and up the stairs quicker than that. The window on his desk fades from view.

Noelle watches Tobias, sadly. She then looks at the window, as it slowly starts to dissolve into the table. Noelle's wide eyes begin to water, and she grabs her stuff and leaves quickly, crying as she exits the room.
